Friends of the Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge School

15/10/2026

A huge thank you to Housing Plus Group and their wonderful contractors for working with the friends of Coalbrookdale and for their generous donations of materials and time to transform our school library! 📚❤️

Thanks to your kindness, hard work and support, we now have a beautiful, welcoming space where our children can relax, explore new stories and enjoy reading.

We are incredibly grateful for your generosity and for helping us create such a special area for our children to learn, grow and develop a love of books.

Thank you for making such a positive difference to our school! 🥰📖

PTA Meeting – Your Ideas Wanted! 🎉

Next Monday, we are meeting with the school to discuss this year’s events and how we can support the school through the PTA.

We would love to hear your suggestions! ❤️

1️⃣ What events would you like to see organised this year?

We want to plan events that are fun, inclusive and enjoyable for all children across the school, regardless of their year group.

2️⃣ What would you like to see the PTA money spent on? 💰

What resources, activities or improvements do you think would benefit all children at school, rather than just one class or individual child?

Some ideas might include:

* Playground equipment and outdoor activities
* Books and reading resources
* School-wide experiences or workshops
* Sports equipment
* Arts, crafts and creative resources
* Supporting school trips or special experiences for all year groups
* Improvements to shared school facilities

These are just examples, and we’d love to hear your own suggestions!

Please comment below with your ideas so we can take your feedback to the meeting on Monday. Every suggestion is welcome, and we want to make sure the PTA supports the whole school community. ❤️

Thank you! 🌟
