Teignbridge District Council (TDC) has announced its intention to sell the Teignmouth Lido site and is inviting bids to buy it. Bidders have been asked to set out their proposals for the future use of the site. The TDC Executive will consider all bids received at a meeting on 6 October.

update

We're submitting our bid by 20 August to buy the site for a peppercorn sum (like the other formerly Teignbridge-owned pools) and run the lido as a community asset.

We're formalising our business plan outlining how volunteers, sponsorship and grants can help us sustain operations with a longer season and opening hours.
