Anyone who wants their pumpkin back from last night they are ready for collection outside the Village Hall. Good effort from all the children who attended and a credit to all parents/ carers/ grandparents and anyone that helped raise them a great polite bunch of kids. It's a joy watching them grow up.

Shout out to witches, wizards ghosts and gouls, if your coming to our spooktacular Halloween party can you let us know...we need to make sure we have enough frogs legs, newts eyes and slime juice to feed you all. Just let us know by sending us a message or leaving us a message.
Dust off you broom sticks and polish your cauldrons for the fancy dress competition and bring your pumpkins carved and ready for lighting to be judged by the head trick and treater.

Today we want to celebrate Ian and the fantastic contribution he’s made to Molehill Green Village Hall. His dedication has helped our cause to progress the development of our village hall, and although it is sad to say good bye, we wish him every success in the future — with an open invitation to stay in touch.

As we move forward, we’re opening up opportunities for residents to join our committee. We need a mix of people — different skills, different strengths, different personalities — all united by a commitment to getting our village hall open again. If that sounds like you, we’d be delighted to hear from you. If you are interested please do let Lucy, Sonia or Martin know. Or email us at [email protected]

Sad to say that following the lack of attendance at the last community Barbeque....the trustees have taken the decision to cancel the August event as we understand August is when alot of people are on holiday.
If anyone has any recommendations or ideas to gather the community together, as we are getting to the point of knowing how to connect with everyone and save the Village Hall.

It really saddens me to have to write this.
Years we have worked tirelessly to keep the Village Hall. We are so close to our end goal of having a usable space.
We do this for our community, alot of time and energy goes into organising events that are meant to engage with residents. We document these to show involvement with the community. This helps with funding applications, which are complex and time consuming to submit. Trying to gather momentum for future events, when we give our time, when we have either the same few faces or no faces at all....is not only soul destroying but does make us wonder is it actually worth it?
We all have busy lives. As a community...do you actually want a Village Hall? Do you even want a community? What are we doing wrong? Let us know.....if we don't know we can't fix it or would you like another 4 houses on the plot that contains our only community asset.
