Thank you to the Old Town Belles WI for co-ordinating a food collection day yesterday at The Co-op in Old Town. The energy and enthusiasm the group brings always encourages shoppers to get involved.

Thank you to the Co-op for allowing us to hold our food collection day at your store. Your support and generosity mean so much to us and the community we serve.

We’re also incredibly grateful to all the customers who donated—your kindness will make a real difference to those in need.

We are celebrating volunteers' week this week, we have over 130 dedicated volunteers who work extremely hard every day to ensure we are able to help those in need in our local community.

The devotion they show and the willingness to donate their time and energy in order to help those who need it is inspiring to say the least.

This week we would love to express how greatful and proud we are of our team.

Food bank information:

If your family is struggling this may half term, Swindon Food Collective can help and provide a free food parcel to all in your household. The food parcels last 3-5 days plus toiletries, household cleaning items and pet food (stock dependant)

You will need a referral first, these can be obtained from places such as Live Well, Citizen Advice, Council Departments, some GP's or libraries. Your food parcel can then be collected from one of our 12 Food Distribution Centres throughout Swindon. Please note, we are closed bank holiday Monday.

If you need a little support, we are here to help
