🔧 Want to learn how to fix electricals and share those skills with your neighbours? Come along to our workshop at Bush Hill Park United Reformed Church on May 19th (5-7.30pm) 🪛

You'll work in teams to repair the most common items brought into community repair events (toasters, kettles, lamps and more), with the support and guidance of an experienced fixer!

📢 Enfield Repair Cafe organises monthly repair cafes, where residents can bring their broken items (electronics, textiles or bikes) and learn how to fix them for free. The group is looking for more electrical fixers. How To Fix Workshops are the perfect place to start your fixing journey and see if you’d like to volunteer! If you’re interested in supporting events in other ways (as a host, data collector or organiser), please email [email protected]!

This session has been made possible by support from Enfield Council and funding from City Bridge Foundation.

Clothes are very personal, so it's only natural that you'd rather not part with your favourite pair of trousers or jacket, even if they're a little damaged. Or quite damaged.

You can always take your clothes to a nearby Repair Café. Who knows, it might be salvagable after all. In any case, our repairers will always try their best. https://repaircafe.org/en/repairing-clothes-and-textiles/

Friendly reminder, we're meeting next Saturday 9th May to fix your broken things! What will you bring?

We repair most things, including electricals, clothing, toys, jewellery, and we also sharpen garden tools.
We don’t charge, we do ask for a donation if you can give one and, if spare parts are needed, we will ask you to pay those costs.

Please book for the right session by filling in the form: https://forms.gle/ZQzEXLejFzDZhmQQ8
Our opening times are:
Morning session (10-12.00) for Textiles, Jewellery & General stuff (no electricals)
Afternoon (12.00-14.00) for Electricals & General stuff (no textiles or jewellery)

Last bookings before 17.00 Thursday 30th April please.

We cant schedule precisely so please arrive near the beginning of the session and expect to be with us for an hour; our apologies if its longer. You should get a booking confirmation within a week and certainly before the repair session. Please read our House Rules, which we will send with the booking confirmation.

We would appreciate a donation of £2 for taking a look and advising, £5 for a small repair and £10 (or more) for a larger repair or saving something valuable to you. If spare parts are needed, we will let you know what they will cost you. We prefer contactless payments but are grateful for what you can give.

If you have booked into a session please do come but, if you really cant, or to ask questions, email us at [email protected]

Look forward to seeing you and helping to save your stuff!
