A few updates that we wanted to share with you all:

1. The wonderful L&Q have been in touch and given us a grant to replace the canopies that were burnt/ damaged so we have purchased new ones but will not put them up until we have ensured that they are covered by our cctv - so it’ll be a few weeks. Thank you so much to L&Q it means our funds can be utilised elsewhere.

2. We have an exciting new game in the park to encourage walking. It is called Love Exploring and it uses augmented reality to bring characters to life. There are currently 4 games as we are on a free trial - tree faeries, mini beasts, butterflies, and a Halloween dancer. It is totally free to use - you just need to download the app to your phone and login when in the park - we hope you enjoy it.

3. Don’t forget our Secret Supper Club tickets are available on bookwhen September 12th - https://bookwhen.com/victoriapark
a Mexican evening with 3 course meal for £20 per person. This is the same day as our ever popular Viking festival - a free community event held in the afternoon.

📅 SAVE THE DATES — THERE’S LOTS MORE TO COME IN 2026!

We might be heading towards the end of summer, but our 2026 events calendar is far from finished! 💚

Some of our biggest and most popular events are still ahead, starting with PRIDE this weekend, followed by our Viking Festival in September, our big Halloween Event, and then before we know it… we’ll be heading into a packed Christmas season with our Christmas Event, Santa Sleigh, Breakfast with Santa and Carols in the Park! 🎃🎅🎄

And that’s before all our regular activities, including Nature Club, Kids Arts & Crafts, Crafternoon, Youth Council, Film Club, Stay & Play, volunteering days and more.
