TÜRKIYE – SYRIA EARTHQUAKE APPEAL

Two massive earthquakes which measured 7.8 on the Richter scale struck Turkiye and Syria in the early hours of 6 of Feb 2023, while many were asleep. Reports suggest an estimated number of 19,000 people have passed away and many more have lost everything.

As-Salaam Foundation has launched an urgent appeal to provide humanitarian aid to those affected by the effects of the earthquake.

The aid will be in the form of food packs, medical support, cash assistance and temporary shelter.

As-Salaam Foundation has local on-the-ground partners who are assisting those in need during these difficult times and a team from As-Salaam Foundation will also be deployed in the region shortly.

We call on everyone to donate generously to our brothers and sisters who need our assistance.

Note: due to the fragile nature of the region your donations will only be distributed appropriately once As-Salaam Foundation is totally satisfied it will reach directly the hands of those in need!
