🎉 Celebrating 80 Years of the Alveston Village Association! 🎉

What a wonderful day we had yesterday celebrating 80 years of the Alveston Village Association. Villagers of all ages came together to enjoy a fantastic afternoon of community spirit, fascinating local history, and a delicious spread of refreshments

Our historical display showcased how Alveston has changed over the decades, while the village trail gave visitors the chance to explore local buildings and discover how they have evolved over the last 80 years (and more!)

If you missed the celebration, there’s still time to enjoy the display! It will remain at The Malt House until 19th June

Pop by, take a book, leave a book, and enjoy a browse among the shelves. From thrillers to children’s stories, there’s always something new waiting to be discovered!

🚧 Stratford Road Closure Update 🚧

We know many of you have been affected by the closure near Charlecote. Cllr Kate Rolfe has been working with Severn Trent and Highways to resolve the confusion and issues

👉 The road is now fully closed until the end of May
👉 Partially open this Sunday for the Stratford Triathlon

Severn Trent have apologised and confirmed the works are essential to improve water pressure locally
