Good to see Warwickshire Wildlife Trust getting vocal on the ecological health of river, wetlands and other watery ecosystems, taking where-water-meets-land and catchment approaches and getting everyone involved.

A Raybel Charters 'Culture Cargo' event for the Totally Thames Festival in partnership with Friends of the River Medway, onboard sailing Barge Raybel from St Katharine Docks.

🎧 12-2pm: Listening to the river and letters from the river
In collaboration with the Museum of Consciousness, we will return to what indigenous peoples have done for thousands of years, and we will listen to the river.
🥪 2-2:30pm: Please bring a packed lunch.
⚖️ 2:30-4pm: The Rights of Rivers Movement: What It means for rivers in the UK with leading expert and barrister Paul Powesland (Lawyers for Nature) and Zofia Page (Director, Friends of the River Medway).
🌸 4-5pm: Water Ceremony
Led by Ellen Kittredge, this session offers a direct connection to ways of giving thanks that have been practiced for thousands of years.
