This week, at our Blackheath Bereavement Cafe, we were fortunate enough to welcome Diane from Community Safety, Sandwell Council.

Diane has worked in local communities, serving local people for many years and shared her vast knowledge and experiences of how to feel safe, how to report any concerns and really useful tips and ways to take care of ourselves.

Thank you, Diane, for your time and care.

Yesterday, we hosted our first Children's bereavement session right here in the grounds of the hospice. It is a real privilege to work alongside The Fine Collective CIC to bring this vision to life and support our young people in the great outdoors.

Our garden is not quite finished yet, but the children shared fantastic ideas for the new space.

Thank you to CJ Tree Surgeons Ltd for donating logs for our future fire circle! 🪵

We're looking forward to seeing what's next for our Swallows and Swifts bereavement groups! 🌲
