Stonehaven Fireballs Association AGM will be held on Thursday 23rd April 2026, 7pm at the Courthouse on Dunnottar Avenue. Stonehaven.

The committee will give a review of the event just past and an update of things ongoing and to come. There will also be the vote for renewal of committee.
Any one is welcome to attend so feel free to share this with anyone you may know who is interested in getting involved.

Please note that you must be a paid up member of the Association in order to vote on any matters arising.

Gooood evening everyone! ☄️
Well... are we excited to show you this one!!
Our good friend Ian Wood of Creative Core has put together a wee video of the event & ceremony, and it’s a cracker! ☄️
It's so well shot, includes some amazing footage from years gone by and has been perfectly narrated by our very own Martin Sim.

We hope you all had a great time!!

We really want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the volunteers who help us make the Fireball ceremony happen and to the local residents of our old town and harbour who host our historic ceremony 🔥☄️

2nd photo is David Ogilvie who had honour of leading the Fireballs Ceremony this year.
This was David’s 23rd swinging a fireball and is well deserved.

Hi everyone! It’s the eve of the biggest ‘Eve’ of the year!
If you are coming down to celebrate with us, please remember:
☄️ - wrap up warm and be prepared for a bit of wind & rain!
☄️ - drones of any kind are NOT allowed
☄️ - if you are travelling with a coach party, you will not get dropped off at the entrance gates and may have to make a short walk from the town centre
☄️ - any street vendors selling light-up wands, etc are NOT affiliated with the Fireballs

☄️ - please note our earlier repost re: tomorrow’s road closure
☄️ - remember that any donation you can make helps to keep the fireballs ceremony going!!

If you would like to marshal for our magical event, we would like to hear from you!
We will ask that you give up a drink on Hogmanay, but will trade for you getting one of the best experiences, and probably the best possible view of the amazing Fireballs Ceremony.

**edit - we only require a small number of extra people, so this will be first come, first in! **
