Our ethos is about maximising community benefit of the railway in North Staffordshire, and our use of social media reflects this. We use social media to communicate, share information and celebrate the Partnership's work. We want to promote our aims of connecting communities by rail. We want to have positive, kind and cons
tructive conversations with our social media users and ask everyone to work within our terms of use for social media. It is against the law to discriminate against, or harass, people who are protected with the following characteristics and, in addition, we will not accept derogatory personal comments or hate speech.

We ask you to please refrain from posting false information, hurtful comments, spamming with content unrelated to the Partnership's work, swearing and commenting upon body image. Posts that do not meet our terms of use will be removed and accounts which do not meet our terms of use will be blocked. We do not notify people directly when they are blocked and we do not discuss on social media the reasons for a block being put in place. Posts that are motivated by hate and are inciting hatred may be reported to the police. If you are concerned about the content in posts that contravene our terms of use, or you are blocked from interacting with us and believe the action taken to be unfair or made in error, please contact us by email at [email protected] with details and we will investigate what has happened. We don’t interact with accounts that have been blocked for the above behaviours.
