We had a great day with colleagues from Alstom and Avanti at Stafford Station yesterday, building planters out of old pallets for a garden area that will be filled with pollinator friendly plants and cared for by a local Scout group.
Thank you to the teams from Alstom and Avanti and to Neil for volunteering their time and to Avanti for funding this project.

Have you completed the Staffy Trail yet? The trail runs for 10 weeks and it’s completely free.
You can download the trail map on the official app or pick up a printed copy in a local library.

Here’s a photo of one of our station adopters visiting one of the Staffy sculptures in Stafford.

Don't forget that with excellent rail links between Stoke and Stafford, and other stations on the trail route, you could complete the Staffy Trail by train!

WOW!

Check out the amazing new artwork at Stafford Station, part of an Avanti funded project which engaged local community groups in designing and creating pollinator themed artwork.

When you're next at the station why not take a selfie with the artwork and tag us - we'd love to see your photos!

Thank you to everyone that took part in the workshops and helped to create these fantastic pieces of art with artists ProteanART and Tom Edwards Art and to Avanti West Coast for supporting and funding this project.

Staffy Trail!
Today marks the launch of the Staffy Trail - a new sculpture and heritage trail across Staffordshire, connected by easy transport links. A printed map and mobile app are available to help visitors take self-guided walking tours around Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford and other Staffordshire locations, to discover unique Staffy sculptures and collect prizes along the way.
With excellent rail links between stations why not take the train for a fun day out exploring the trail and visiting local attractions and businesses.
There are Staffy’s outside Stafford Station and in The Good’s Yard next to Stoke Station.
North Staffs Community Rail Partnership and Avanti West Coast are proud to have part sponsored ‘Jasper’ the Staffy at Stafford Station designed by Marshbrook First School and local artist, Sarah Grateley.
