Last Saturday we held a Love Stoke 100 celebration at the The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery up 'anley where we celebrated the fantastic heritage of our city and watched some amazing films which had been submitted.

Congratulations to all the winners - Sam Foster, students from the PQA Stoke-on-Trent Emily Laws and Olivia, Madisson and Isabella.

We were blown away by the films created and would like to say a big thank you to everyone who created a film and took part in the project.

Many thanks to Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Kelvin The Kiln for their support.

Also a big thank you to Daniel James for sharing his experience of working within the movie industry.

On Friday afternoon last week we were joined by High School and College students from across the City to celebrate Love Stoke 100. We watched films created by the students and heard from media industry experts about career opportunities and new challenges within the media industry.

It was a fantastic afternoon and thanks to everyone who took part and came along.

All the films were superb and many thanks to the awesome students from The City of Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College who produced some fantastic films.

Congratulations to the winners Tom and Ash from the Sixth Form and St Peter's Academy students.

It was a pleasure to meet such talented young people enthusiastic about making films and exploring the heritage and people that make up Stoke on Trent.

Many thanks to Jonty Sargeant and VCCP for taking time out of busy schedules to talk to the students.

On Friday morning we welcomed primary school students from across Stoke on Trent to the Wade Centre to celebrate Love Stoke 100. Congratulations to The Willows Primary, Eaton Park and Oscar and Jude who won awards in their categories.

We have had an amazing time working with these young people and watching their brilliant films. Congratulations to everyone who took part.
