At Great Minds Together, we know that sometimes it’s the smallest things that can make the biggest difference to someone’s everyday life.

A dripping tap, a broken cupboard, shelves that need putting up or a garden that’s become difficult to manage might seem like minor jobs, but for vulnerable individuals, older people, families experiencing financial hardship or those living with disabilities, these things can quickly become overwhelming.

We also recognise that the cost of getting someone out to complete even the smallest maintenance job can be unaffordable for many households.

That’s why we’re introducing our GMT Maintenance Team, offering reliable, friendly and affordable practical support to individuals and families within our local communities.

From general household repairs and flat-pack assembly to gardening, decorating and those little jobs that never seem to get done, our team can help at rates designed to be accessible rather than prohibitive.

💚 Prices start from just £15 for smaller jobs, with materials charged at cost.

This isn’t simply about maintenance. It’s about helping people feel safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes, reducing some of the everyday pressures families face and making practical support more accessible to those who need it.

Any proceeds generated will also help support the wider work we do at Great Minds Together, strengthening our ability to continue supporting vulnerable people and families.

We would particularly welcome referrals from community organisations, social workers, family support services, charities and anyone working with individuals who might benefit from a little extra practical help.

Sometimes making a difference doesn’t require a huge intervention. Sometimes it just requires someone willing to turn up, lend a hand and make life that little bit easier.
