Exciting start to 2026! 🎉
We’re starting the new year with some big news.
After a long, complex and at times exhausting journey, against resistance, bureaucracy, doubt and sheer fatigue, we are officially CQC registered!
This is a huge milestone for us. Not just because of the registration itself, but because our model has been recognised on its own terms. The evidence of our work spoke for itself, demonstrating that something different is needed in our system, particularly for neurodivergent people with complex mental health needs.
We are now a regulated community-based crisis mental health service, working both at times of crisis and preventatively to support people, ensuring unnecessary hospital admissions are avoided, especially for neurodivergent individuals who too often fall between systems.
We are truly grateful to the CQC for the time they took to understand the need for the model we have built, and for the flexibility and openness shown throughout what was a complex process.
We have gone through a long and detailed due diligence assessment, and our work, integrity, honesty and commitment to making a difference has been truly recognised.
What this represents matters:
- Credibility that’s been hard-won
- Recognition of a genuinely integrated, community-based approach
- and a significant step forward for services designed around people, not pathways
This has taken time, persistence and an unwavering belief in the work, but we stayed with it, worked constructively through the process, and trusted the strength of what we do every day.
As we head into the new year, we do so as a regulated service, with renewed momentum and a clear sense of purpose.
This adds to the achievements of gaining AQA registration for our alternative education provision, and CPD accreditation for our training programmes.
Quietly proud. Deeply grateful. Very excited for what’s ahead.
Here’s to the next chapter. ✨
