This morning we was highly honoured with the presence of Sky News. The staff and customers of Allan's cafe shared views on what is important here: community. Our mission to be able to help, it really highlighted what mattered most? The company and friendships people share, the warmth and spirit.
Recognising the support offered, the community centre isn't just 4 walls. 😇

Good afternoon, this week feedback forms will be going out to the groups and for us at Heaton Norris Community Centre this is so important that we recieve feedback in order for us to go to funders/council, they want to hear personal opinions of service users, this is so that we can make these groups extra special and give the children, young people, people in the community that access our services the activities/trips and accessibility they deserve. Here at Heaton Norris we pride ourselves in going that extra mile to make a difference. Please take 10 minutes of your time to contribute why yourself or the person associated with you attends, and what makes things so special about the group you/family? why we deserve the funding to help people thrieve?

And that's a wrap for this week second day of HAF done. The A team serving the children's community, Chocolate fountain and fresh fruit, pop corn alongside arts and crafts. Thank you to the younger volunteers showing a great work ethic to generations and staff members putting together such great days. We are back 03.06.2026, for more fun filled days! ❤️

Quick one to the parents of children on HAF programme with us this week temptures have rocketed therefore your children will need suncream on and prefably a water bottle. If you want to bring along suncream please put your children's name on it so we can make sure it is returned to the right person
