Both Becky and Cath are an essential part of our Heads Up hair loss support service. Heads Up is a charitably-funded support service for people affected by hair loss caused by cancer treatment. It is provided free to patients and is
a partnership initiative between Hywel Dda Health Charities; Cancer Hair Care charity, and the Withybush Hospital Cancer Day Unit Appeal, which supports the Pembrokeshire arm of the service.

Huge thanks to our lovely volunteer Fiona for her fantastic first Wig Bank Plus event that took place in Bexhill, East Sussex, earlier this month.

We’d also like to thank The Sara Lee Trust for hosting the event in their therapy suite as well as Fiona’s friend Louise for her valuable support on the day. Fiona had five lovely ladies attend, some are pictured.

Wig Bank Plus is run by our specially-trained Cancer Hair Care volunteer hairdressers. The aim is to provide a wig free-of-charge to those in need. All wigs have been donated by others then taken through a hygiene cleaning process ready for its new wearer.

If you would like to find out more about our Wig Bank Plus service, please visit our website.
