Thank you to everyone who attended the Memorial Service today, to our readers and musicians, to Mary Porter for presenting and helping to organise as well as East & North Hertfordshire Hospitals' Charity, Family Volunteering Club, and Aching Arms UK - the baby loss charity for their support this year.

Just a gentle reminder that these certificates are available if you wish to apply for one to acknowledge your loss.

It's Baby Loss Awareness Week and we're thinking of everyone who has lost a baby 💖💙

Whenever it happened, your loss deserves to be officially acknowledged.

That's why the baby loss certificate is available.

You can request one if all the following apply:

🔹 you've lost a baby before 24 weeks of pregnancy (or 28 weeks before 1 October 1992)
🔹 you're one of the baby's parents or surrogate
🔹 you're at least 16 years old
🔹 you live in England

Our midwifery colleagues will be holding a 'Wave of Light Walk' at Fairlands Valley Park in Stevenage on Thursday 15 October at 6pm 📆

The walk will mark the end of Baby Loss Awareness Week, a time for those who have experienced loss to come together to honour and remember our babies.

All are welcome; whether you have experienced the loss of a baby personally, are supporting a loved one with grief or simply wish to stand in solidarity with those affected 💜

Those attending are also encouraged to bring a flameless candle and meet the team outside the coffee shop 🕯️🤗

Please take 5 minutes to email your MP and tell them about your babies. It would be amazing if we could persuade some of the local MPs to attend this debate.

From ribbon displays to debates, politicians across the UK will soon be marking Baby Loss Awareness Week 💖💙

In Westminster, the baby loss debate on Monday 12 October will mark the ten-year anniversary of the debate in the UK Parliament.

Will you ask your MPs to attend and wear a baby loss awareness ribbon badge?
