This week's goes to Sally, one of our amazing lead bereavement midwives, has bravely signed up to take on the Lister Abseil to raise funds for the bereaved families she supports 💙

Sally said: “I have decided to take on the challenge of abseiling down the Lister to raise money to support the bereaved families within maternity. This is a cause close to my heart and our team and the families we care for are so grateful for everyone's generosity and kindness.”

Only a few days to go until we launch Say Their Name Day in the UK on Wednesday 25 March! This is a day for everyone to remember a much-loved baby, share their name, a special date or memory about them.

We would love for parents, grandparents, relatives, friends and colleagues to join in and ‘say their name’. Because hearing their baby’s name means the world to a bereaved parent.

We have something special coming up 💜🧡​ On 25 March we will be launching Say Their Name Day in the UK. Led by Red Nose Australia since 2019, we are pleased to partner with Red Nose and bring Say Their Name Day to the UK.

This is a chance for us to come together in memory of our babies. If you’d like to, you can join in by sharing their name (or maybe a nickname), a date or special memory you have about your baby.

We wish all of our supporters and followers a peaceful and calm Christmas and New Year. We know many find this time of year particularly difficult so please do make use of the Sands helpline if needed. Don’t forget our local monthly support group in January as well.
