Sponsor a pot or chair for your company/organisation. Chairs are planned to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June
Volunteer - planting, weeding, dead heading, watering. There’s always lots to do especially this year when we’ll be working with other volunteer groups and the Town Council in readiness for the Jubilee, including plans for a Jubilee Garden on the Recreation Ground
Grow - seeds provided by Stamford In Bloom, seedlings in your garden, using space in your greenhouse
Store plants - seasonal plants will need to be kept from year to year
Residents - can make a real difference to the front of your house by placing a simple pot by the front door, installing a window box or two or adding a couple of hanging baskets. A group of houses, a row or street can enter their own special category
Retailers - can add pots with trees or flowers at their entrances and use their windows to welcome customers all year, with a special effort during judging week in July, when shops can enter their own category of this competition
Pubs, wine bars, hotels - with public areas can enter their gardens for special judging
Schools - can get involved with clearing designated spaces within the town, seed growing and planting. In addition, there are plans, maps, banners, booklets and photographic diaries which all need designing
