An unexpected find today whilst setting up for Year 1s forest school - he (or possibly she) did scuttle off after waking up and I've duly reported the find to the People's Trust for Endangered Species

Whilst preparing for today's session, I came across this adorable sleepy dormouse nestled in the camo jackets.

He did wake up and scamper off!

Did you dormice are not technically mice, they belong to the same family group as squirrels and beavers!

They also sleep for upto 6 months a year!

We enjoyed another Wilder Wellbeing session at Space in Milton Creek.
We made love hearts from.birch, willow and dogwood and then created mini birds to perch in them.

It was nice seeing new faces at the session and learning how these and other funded sessions help people to "change the routine" "get out the house for a while" and "meet new people".

We are ever so grateful to
for funding these sessions and we hope to continue them over the year.
