📢 We’re Hiring!

Part-Time Benefits Support Adviser

Due to a high volume of enquiries, we’re looking for an additional team member to join our growing team.

We are seeking an experienced individual to assist families with:

• DLA (Disability Living Allowance) applications
• PIP (Personal Independence Payment) applications
• Blue Badge applications
• Providing guidance and support throughout the application process

Essential requirements:

✅ Proven experience completing successful DLA and/or PIP applications
✅ Strong understanding of disability benefits and eligibility criteria
✅ Excellent written communication skills
✅ Compassionate, professional and client-focused approach
✅ Ability to work independently and manage a caseload

This is a part-time position with flexible working arrangements.

Join us for our upcoming Online ADHD Workshop with Lisa Omer, designed for parents, carers & anyone supporting a child or young person with ADHD.

In this informative & supportive session, we'll explore:

✔️ Brain differences & chemical imbalances
✔️ Medication & treatment options
✔️ Behaviours commonly linked to ADHD
✔️ Practical strategies to support & manage those behaviours

Seven years ago, The Autism Apprentice began with a simple mission: to help autistic children, young people & their families access the support they need.

Since then, we've had the privilege of supporting thousands of families, working alongside incredible schools & professionals, hosting events, building a community & meeting so many amazing people along the way. 💙

To everyone who has trusted us, supported us, fundraised for us, partnered with us, attended our events or simply followed our journey – thank you. We wouldn't be here without you.

We recently visited ALP Sittingbourne 💙

It was fantastic to learn more about their personalised approach to education & the incredible work they do to support young people who may have experienced challenges within mainstream settings.

During our visit, we explored the facilities, met with members of the team & gained a greater understanding of how ALP Sittingbourne Sittingbourne helps learners build confidence, develop life skills & achieve positive outcomes for the future.

We also had the opportunity to share information with parents about the support available through The Autism Apprentice & how we can work alongside education settings to support families.
