⚠️ Waste and recycling collections - important information.

As it’s set to be very hot on Monday and Tuesday next week, collections MAY start at 6am, rather than 7am.

This is to help our crews avoid the hottest times of the day.

🕕 So, please put your bins/boxes/bags out by 6am, and on the night before if possible.

We are launching a new online service on Monday 22 June which will enable some patients waiting for surgery to have part of their pre-operative assessment at home.

Patients have a pre-operative assessment to prepare them for their surgical procedure.

The new digital tool will mean some patients will be able to fill in their pre op assessment questionnaires online instead of having a face-to-face appointment.

Gynaecology patients will be the first to use the new service and they will be contacted via text from tomorrow, Thursday 18 June, to prompt them to fill in their questionnaire.

The Plan will decide things like:

❗ Right now, the plan is at an early stage. We’re not choosing places to build yet. Instead, we just want to hear what you think is important and what issues Shropshire faces.

What you say now will help shape the plan later on, when more detailed ideas are created.
