Friends Summer School

The second planning meeting for this year’s Summer School is happening next weekend in Manchester.
Let us know if you are planning to register for a place in Shropshire in August!
If you are, feel free to reply with suggestions of things we did in previous summer schools that you would like to see again- games, workshops, films? Speakers on subjects you enjoyed? Or if you’ve never been and would like to include your favourite sport, game or activity, please let us know here. Can’t promise, as so much depends on the skills of staff, but I’ll happily take suggestions to the planning meeting. 😀

Friends Summer School 2026 is going to be here at Preston Montford Field Studies Centre, Sunday August 2nd- Saturday 8th.
You can tell us below if you are hoping to come this year!
Would you like to introduce a friend or cousin to Summer School too? Let us know below. Summer School is for 11-17 year olds but some people start at age 10 if they have an older relative there already and feel comfortable with coming before they are 11 years old.

Summer School will be running a taster day at Mount Street Meeting House on Saturday the 7th of February! It'll be a great chance for young people to come and see what Summer School's all about before they apply for the real thing!
