Made the defib sign and walking map reappear from its ivy coating on our village green. If you have any community projects lets us know. We are hoping to have a volunteers day at which we can get a few things sorted. Plus grow some volunteers for our villages groups.

This is the “dog waste only” bin outside the Village Hall it is clearly marked up for dog 💩. One reason why it might not have been emptied is it also full of non dog 💩. So unless your dog has stolen and eaten and “passed”the whole burger plus its container then you have popped it in the wrong bin. I assume the 🐕 frisbee was eaten or chomped on but is does not pass as 💩. Bags out of the bin are will only be picked up on the good will of the council team. Despite a bit of free thinking initiative, by putting multiple poo bags into one big bag, this sadly does not cut it. Currently the 1st impression on turning the corner into the Hall and Surgery car park is s**t

Gill is Running a new Zumba class starting on 3rd Aug.
A great opportunity to have some fun while getting healthier or staying healthy. Don’t be tentative … get active!

Keep a look out for Darwin the tortoise who has escaped. The owner is Julia Pitkin who lives in Falkland Road. It’s a long shot for Darwin to have crossed the a49 and made his way across the village, but at the size of a tea plate he might be speedy!
