Saturday 18th April. Shifnal Bell Ringers will be hosting the Shropshire Association of Church Bell Ringers AGM

7pm till 8pm Bell Ringers from all over Shropshire will have a ring of our wonderful bells at Shifnal, followed by a meeting for Shropshire Association Bell Ringers 🔔

Tonight we will be ringing the bells to welcome you all to Midnight Mass 🔔

We will start ringing from about 10.30pm 🔔

Christmas Day we will start the day right and will be ringing the bells 🔔 before Christmas day service too ❤️🔔

We will start ringing about 9.30am 🔔

Today St Andrews Church Bell Ringers rang the bells half-muffled for Remembrance Sunday ❤️🔔

It was wonderful to have all 8 bells ringing for this most important occasion

We do this to remember them 🔔❤️

Last night the Captain and Deputy Captain was preparing the bells ready for Remembrance Sunday ❤️🔔

We applied a half muffle to the clapper on all the bells. The sound of half-muffled tower bells is unmistakable. In Rounds it’s like a normal descending scale followed by an eerie echo of sound.

We half muffle the bells for Remembrance Sunday to create a solemn and mournful sound that honors those who have died in conflict

We will be ringing half a hour later than normal this Sunday. Which will be followed by the 2 minute silence ❤️

We will remember ❤️

Today we had the delight of attending the BBC Radio Shropshire Make A Difference Awards ❤️

It was a beautiful event and very well organised. We had a wonderful time, heard some amazing stories from other finalists and felt truly grateful ❤️

Well done to all the finalists and winners 🙏❤️

And yes that is a picture of us with Mr Motivator 💪. He was the judge for our category ❤️
