Seaton Repair Cafe

Seaton Repair Cafe only open the Second Saturday of the month.

We aim to develop a culture of repair and re-use wherever possible by providing a cafe-style environment where volunteer repairers and community members can repair personal and portable household items that would otherwise be discarded.

Got a blunt kitchen knife that's struggling to do the job? Bring it along to Seaton Repair Cafe this Saturday between 10:00 and 12:00 and our volunteer sharpeners will help restore its edge.

Due to the popularity of this service and to give as many people as possible the chance to benefit, we can only accept one knife (or other blade item) per person.

📍 The Masonic Hall
🕙 Saturday, 10:00am–12:00pm

We look forward to seeing you there and helping keep useful items in service for longer!

Please transport knives and sharp objects safely by wrapping them in thick cardboard, a tea towel, or placing them in a knife roll or box.

Is your favourite lamp sitting in a corner gathering dust? 💡 Bring it along and let us help you light up your lamp again!

Our skilled volunteer repairers will be on hand to help with a wide range of repairs, including:

🔌 Electrical items
🔧 Mechanical items
🧵 Clothing and textiles
🏠 Household items
✨ And much more!

Repair Cafés are all about giving broken items a second chance, reducing waste, saving money and sharing skills within the community.

📅 Saturday 13th June
📍 Masonic Hall, Seaton
⏰ 10:00am – 12:00pm

No booking required – simply drop in with your item and enjoy a cuppa and a chat while our volunteers see what they can do.

Repairs are free, although donations to support future Repair Café events are always appreciated.

Don't replace it just yet—repair it! Together we can keep useful items out of landfill and back where they belong: in use. 💙🌍
