🌿 Great progress at Seaford Station today

We refreshed the first two planters by cutting back and carefully lifting the existing plants, topping up the planting mix, then replanting with a combination of established plants and new additions.

A very special thank you to our volunteer Anne for her continued support and dedication, including helping to keep the planters watered and thriving.

There is still more to complete, but the restoration is now well underway.

🌿 Seaford Station is entering Phase 2 of our planter restoration project!

Thanks to the fantastic support of our volunteers, the planters have been repainted and weekly watering is keeping everything thriving. The next stage is to refresh the planting, introduce new plants, and install our interpretation signs.

Another productive volunteering session down at Seaford Station today maintaining the planters, today’s jobs were watering weeding, pruning and painting 👨‍🎨

A special thank you to our volunteer Anne for all the extra watering and gardening she does at the station on top of our normal sessions 💚

The Armeria maritima (thrift) varieties are looking particularly good at the moment with beautiful pink and white flowers on display.
