North Lincolnshire Mind is a local organisation devoted to promoting a better quality of Mental Health in Scunthorpe and the wider community. We offer a range of groups and services to meet the various needs of those affected by poor mental health, including:
Peer Support service: The opportunity to visit the centre and socialise with other members of Mind. Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRA
P): We are pleased to offer weekly WRAP sessions for those interested in creating their own WRAPs, including the formation of crisis plans and wellness tools to aid recovery. Every Monday from 1 to 2.30 pm via Zoom or at North Lincolnshire Mind. Please call 01724 279 500 for more information. This course will help you to develop more effective coping strategies for difficult periods in your life. The topics we cover in this course are: resilience, assertiveness, how to manage worry and stress. Every Friday from 1 to 2 pm via Zoom or at North Lincolnshire Mind. Safe Space is a late night support line for people 17 years and over. Trained support workers can support people to manage thoughts of self-harm, low mood, and anxiety, to help prevent them from reaching crisis point.
