Just a gentle reminder that our next Support Group Meeting will be on Wednesday 10th June 2026.

We meet at the Mind Rooms, Printers Yard, Fenton Street, Scunthorpe.
6.30pm-8.30pm

Anyone wanting to come for the first time or who may welcome some extra support in coming in, please let us know as we will be happy to meet you outside if you would like us to. We realise how hard it can be to make this step and will do all we can to make it as easy as we can for you.
We are a friendly, very welcoming group and are bereaved parents ourselves.
It helps to talk or even just to listen.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us by PM on this page should you wish to and we will reply asap.

The care parents receive during and after pregnancy or baby loss, can have immediate and lasting effects on their wellbeing. Better care can help parents and families navigate their bereavement journey, while poor care could add to the trauma of loss.

This two-hour online training session is designed for healthcare professionals working in maternity, neonatal, early pregnancy and wider healthcare settings. It will help build confidence in providing safe, sensitive and person-centred care when it matters most.

Next session: Thursday 11 June, 9.30am to 11.30am

➡️ Book your place on an upcoming session – link in the comments below.

Do you know someone at work who has been affected by pregnancy or baby loss?

Our Memory Making and Commemoration Awareness Talk helps you and your team to understand the importance of memory making and commemoration, exploring personal and diverse ways parents and families choose to remember their babies 💜🧡

In this session you’ll find out about ways to get involved through Sands and receive guidance on supporting commemorative choices.

Our trained and experienced specialists are available to join you and your team at events, online or in-person. Each session lasts about 45 minutes to allow for questions.
