🌟 MESSINGHAM SHOW NEEDS YOU! 🌟

❤️ A village is only as strong as the community behind it! ❤️

Messingham is a wonderful village to live in, a sought after place where people are proud to call home. But what makes a village special isn’t just its houses, surroundings or location it’s the people, the community spirit and the traditions that bring us all together.

Next year’s Messingham Show will mark an incredible 120 years of volunteers coming together to make this wonderful village event possible. That’s 120 years of community spirit, dedication and people giving up their time to create something special for others to enjoy.

But events like this don’t just happen. Behind the scenes, a small group of dedicated volunteers give up their time to make it possible.

And now, more than ever, WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We all love living in a thriving village, but to keep it that way, we need people willing to get involved. We cannot expect these wonderful traditions to continue without the support of the community they are there for.

You don’t need any special skills, just a little enthusiasm, some time to spare and a willingness to help. Whether you can offer a few hours, lend a hand on show day or become part of the committee, every bit of help makes a difference.

Please come along, get involved and help secure the future of this wonderful tradition.

❤️ We couldn’t be prouder of our pupils today ❤️

Following this year’s Messingham Show, a steward from the event took the time to contact the school personally to tell us how lovely, polite and respectful our children were throughout the day.

As a school, there are few compliments that mean more to us than this.

We are incredibly fortunate that Messingham Show once again provided free tickets for every child at Messingham Primary School. The show committee’s generosity allows our children and families to enjoy a fantastic community event, so to hear that our pupils represented both themselves and our school so positively genuinely makes our hearts happy and our eyes a little watery.

At Messingham Primary School, we are proud to be a Values Based Education school. This month, we have been focusing on the value of integrity - doing the right thing even when nobody is watching. While academic achievements are important, hearing that our children demonstrated integrity, kindness, respect and excellent manners whilst representing our school in the wider community is something truly special.

To receive feedback from members of the public recognising our pupils’ manners, behaviour and kindness is a credit to the children themselves, their families and our dedicated staff team.

Well done, Team MPS. You represented your school brilliantly and reminded us exactly why we are so proud of each and every one of you. ⭐

And a final thank you to Messingham Show for their continued support of our school and community. We are already looking forward to next year 🐴 🎡🎪
