📢 A Polite Reminder from Scotter village 📢

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who donates clothing and shoes to our local charity bank based in the coop carpark ❤️

However, if the collection bank is full, please don’t leave bags beside it.

Unfortunately, once items are left outside they can become wet, damaged or contaminated by the weather. This means that, despite your good intentions, many of these donations can no longer be reused and may have to be disposed of.

👕👟 Before donating, please check there is space inside the bank.
📦 If it is full, please consider returning another day or using an alternative collection point.

Together we can make sure your donations help those who need them most, rather than ending up in landfill.

Thank you for your understanding and for continuing to support charitable causes in our community. 💙

💛🤎 SCOTTER BROWNIES NEED YOU! 🤎💛

Do you know girl aged 7–10 looking for fun, friendship, adventure and new experiences?

🌟 1st Scotter Brownies would love to welcome new members! From crafts and challenges to outdoor adventures and building confidence, Brownies is all about having fun while learning new skills.

But there’s another important message…

🙏 Volunteers are urgently needed to help run the unit.

Without more adult volunteers, there is a real risk that this much-loved Brownie, Guides, Rainbows & Rangers groups may not be able to continue.

You don’t need previous Guiding experience – full training and support are provided. Whether you can help regularly or occasionally, your time could make a huge difference to local girls.

⚽️ 𝗜𝗧’𝗦 𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗢𝗪! ⚽️

One of the biggest days in the Scotter sporting calendar is almost here!

Tomorrow, Scotter United Junior Football Club will be hosting their annual football tournament, welcoming teams from across the area for what promises to be a fantastic day of football, fun and community spirit. 🙌🏻☀️

The tournament will feature teams from U6 to U12 age groups, with hundreds of young players taking part throughout the day. ⚽️🏆

A huge amount of work goes on behind the scenes to organise an event of this size, so we’d like to wish everyone at Scotter United JFC the very best for a successful tournament.

If you’re looking for something to do tomorrow, why not head down and support the players, coaches and volunteers? 👏🏻

Good luck to all the teams taking part, and here’s hoping for a day of great football and sunshine! ☀️⚽️

🥫❤️ FOODBANK COLLECTION – PLEASE SUPPORT IF YOU CAN ❤️🥫

Scotter Methodist Church is continuing to collect donations for the local foodbank, with all items being forwarded to the Salvation Army in Gainsborough to help local people in need.

• Saturday 13th June
⏰ 9:30am – 11:00am

Donations of non-perishable food items are greatly appreciated, including:

🥫 Soup, baked beans, tinned vegetables, tuna, fruit, custard and rice pudding
🥛 UHT milk
🍜 Instant noodles, pasta, spaghetti and pasta sauce
☕ Tea and coffee
🥣 Cereal
🍪 Biscuits
🍓 Jam
🥘 Tinned meals such as chilli, curries, ravioli and hot dogs

Every donation, no matter how small, helps support individuals and families facing difficult times.

Our local Co-op is running a fantastic FREE FRUIT Competition for children aged under 13, and they need your help designing their summer free fruit posters!

🖼️ See your artwork displayed in Co-op stores

It’s a great way to keep the children busy, have some fun, and show off their artistic talents over the summer.

Entry forms are available in store, so pop in and pick one up!

💙 What an incredible community we have! 💙

A huge well done and thank you to Denise Hegarty for organising her Pop-Up Yard Sales and to everyone who donated items for Denise to sell.

Thanks to your generosity, support and purchases, an amazing £18,041.38 has now been raised for Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity! 🎉
