🤝 Play, Connect & Unwind – Join us for a relaxed evening of games, conversation and good company.

♟️ Something for Everyone – We’ll have a selection of games available including chess, draughts, dominoes, cards and UNO. Whether you're competitive or just looking for a laugh, there’s a seat at the table for you.

🧠 More Than Just Games – Games are a great way to break the ice, build confidence and connect with others in a natural and enjoyable way.

🎲 Shape the Session – As the group grows, we'll expand the games available based on what the group enjoys and wants to bring along. Have a favourite game? Bring it with you!

Wellbeing Wednesdays 😊

Just a reminder that we are delighted to have Birth and Beyond Whitby visiting us again tomorrow (3rd Sept) at the Scout Hut in Eastfield and also on the 16th Sept at the Scarborough Christian Fellowship Church on Castle Road. Both baby groups run from 1 - 3pm

All sessions are free to attend, offer baby weighing and support if needed.

Come along to chat to Ilayda and Laura from Birth & Beyond if you have any questions about breastfeeding, bottle feeding or weaning and about baby wearing and sling support. They have a vast library of slings that you can try on and hire if needed. 👶🍼🥣

Exciting news 😁 We are delighted to announce that due to demand for our services we will be opening a third office on Northway in Scarborough 🎉🎉

However, we do need help to make this happen. Please share......

We promised an open day at the chalet, so that's just what we did, despite the weather forecast! ☔️⛈️

The walking group covered a few thousand steps to take a look at Scalby Beck following the heavy rain last night and gathered some plastic rubbish from the beach ♻️

A great chance to enjoy the sea air, improve fitness and meet new people 🙂

AskaTeens 🎧 Sweets & Music Bingo!

Got a love for music and a competitive streak? Join us next Friday for a special session of Music Bingo, where your song knowledge could win you a stash of sweets! 🍬🏆

AskaTeens is a relaxed, fully inclusive space for neurodiverse young people to hang out, make new friends, and just be themselves. No pressure, no expectations, just good tunes and great company.

Wellbeing Wednesdays 😊

It was great to be part of the first Community Voices event today held in partnership with Trevor Mahon from SHARC, part of the NHS research team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We gathered at Wreyfield Drive Methodist Church after our creative session this morning to listen to what residents had to say about what matters to them 😊

Being in a safe space, within the community with a liked and trusted organisation allows people to be open and honest. We enjoyed lots of great conversations and captured lots of important views too 😊

Thanks so much to everyone who attended. It will be great to see what themes come out of these events over the coming months

Marvellous Mondays 😊 Michelle popped to see Hayley, one of the founders and Directors of The Aska Hub C.I.C based in Eastfield this afternoon.

What a fabulous community asset, with amazing people supporting local residents in Eastfield and Scarborough.

It was great to chat about how our organisations can work together to support clients and families ❤️

So youre here and may be wondering what The Aska Hub is about.....

So let me explain, we exist to try bring services together, mainstream and holistic to be able to support you to find the path for you to heal, gain support, build friendships and make connections.

We do this through therapy, wellbeing programmes, groups and classes. We hold events and workshops too!

When funding allows we have low cost sessions and funded programmes to enhance the support in our community.

If you would like to know more please drop us a DM.
No membership needed and all are welcome. Our hub is also wheelchair accessible!

Thankful Thursdays 😊

Thank you to everyone who came to our baby groups this week. It’s lovely to see friendships forming and support being given.

Next Thursday, 27th August, at our Eastfield session, we will be welcoming clinical psychologist Dr Charlotte from Born to Bond. Parents will be able to ask questions about baby sleep, bonding and parent-infant relationships!

As always, we offer a welcoming space, refreshments and baby weigh……. And it’s all free!
