Scalloway Youth Centre

Scalloway Youth Centre The Scalloway Youth & Community Centre is a vibrant hub where people of all ages can meet in a safe and welcoming environment.

As well as the regular groups and services offered by the centre, the building can be hired by external groups. The Scalloway Youth Centre is the only purpose built Youth Centre on Shetland. The doors were opened 20 years ago in 1996 and has since gone from strength to strength. We offer a range of services including a Peerie Club for children from P1 to P3, A Youth Café Project for young people a

ges 10 and up (S1+), a 60+ group, a house band and music Project. External groups also hire the centre on a weekly basis including the SIC Youth Club on Wednesday evenings, other music bands and music teachers. Adult learning also use the Centre as does a Yoga and Photography group. The building can also be hired out for parties and meetings. This can be done by

Funky Friday session - 5th May

Tonight we have David Sutherland, Skateboarding coach, coming to the junior session. 🛹😊

Disclaimer forms need to be signed and completed for children to attend. We will have disclaimer forms at the centre for parents/carers to fill out. Please also dress appropriately for skateboarding and have suitable clothing for outside session.

We will also have a range of activities on within the centre!

Juniors (P4 - P7) 6.15pm - 7.45pm

Funky Friday session - 29th May

It’s National Biscuit Day! 🍪🍩🍪

Decorate your own biscuit and party ring eating challenge! 🍪🍩🍪😋

We will be designing ideas for the float* for the carnival and a potential Nerf Gun Battle League fundraiser for the summer. More info to follow… watch this space.
