We act to give back to the community both across Erewash and beyond whilst enjoying great friendship

Last night was the highlight of our Rotary Year as we held our annual Charity Presentation Evening. Members of Erewash Rotary were asked to nominate a good cause of their choosing to receive a donation of up to £1,000. All nominees were invited to come along last night so we could showcase their hard work helping others and recognise these unsung heroes. President Leon Wade presented cheques totalling £18,000. We were delighted to also welcome Councillor Harry Atkinson to see first hand the community spirit across Erewash. Well done to everyone we recognised last night.

If you haven't been to WoW before, it's a great mix of a two course lunchtime meal followed by games and activities, starting with a drink at 11am.

Erewash Rotary once again supported the Ilkeston Heritage and Classic Vehicle Show by selling hot food items. Despite the heat and long hours it was great to be part of this fantastic community event. Thanks to everyone who came along and purchased from our stall and for your lovely comments. We sold out and so sorry to anyone who we couldn’t serve. We have raised nearly £1,700 which will enable our continued support of those in need both in Erewash and beyond. Thank you to Erewash Partnership Ltd and in particular Ian Viles for organising such a great event. See you next year.
