The Lighthouse Charity - Ilkeston A local charity raising funds to support families, youths and children within the local community.

The Lighthouse shop in Ilkeston forms part of the successful retail division for the Derbyshire based charity, Valley CIDS. Valley CIDS is a Christian charity which was developed with the primary aim of investing in the next generation. This is achieved through a variety of different means, such as our Blend Youth Projects in Heanor and Ripley, breakfast clubs, workshops and support services for y

oung people and their families. Here at the shop in Ilkeston, we stock a huge selection of different items, ranging from clothing to books to furniture. We are also one of the few places locally where you can purchase fully tested and guaranteed pre-loved electrical items at extremely low prices. We also offer local delivery plus free collection of any unwanted items you may wish to donate. House clearance services are also available (please enquire in store or give us a call for more information). We are a very busy store and are constantly taking new donations, so please don't hesitate to pop in and see us... You just never know what little treasure might be waiting for you! :)

At present our stock levels of quality bric are low. We would really appreciate donations of the following -
Homeward ( cups, plates, cookware)
Ornaments and decorative items.
Kitchen items
Small working condition electricals.
Glassware.
Pictures and frames.
We would be so grateful as this helps us to continue supporting our different projects in our community.
