It was a fantastic day at Parr Childrenโs Centre last week, showcasing whatโs on offer for families in Parr through Cradle to Career ๐
There was a record turnout of more than 600 people who came along to enjoy free food, ice cream, face painting, singing, dancing, a mini zoo and plenty of activities for children and families ๐ฆ ๐ฆ
The day also brought together local partners from across education, health, family support and the community, helping families find out more about the services and support available close to home ๐ค
Jo Pearson, Programme Director for Cradle to Career in Sefton and St Helens, said:
โToday has been a brilliant example of what can happen when services work together around the needs of a community.โ
One local parent added:
โEvents like this bring the community togetherโฆ and having all the services here in one place today is great to know whatโs available.โ
Well done to Home-Start St Helens and the Parr multidisciplinary team for organising the event ๐ and thank you to everyone who attended and made the day such a success.
