Teardrops is a non-profitable organisation set up in a deprived area in St Helens Merseyside to support the homeless within the St Helens, Halton and other surrounding urban areas in the North West of England. Teardrops aim to support the homeless and provide opportunities for individuals to reach their full potential, taking into account that first we need to meet their basic needs. The overall o

bjective will be to provide a self-contained, end to end service this is with the service user from the start of their use of our service to completion. There is currently no overall provision for homeless people in St Helens, only limited piecemeal services. Teardrops plan to provide an end to end solution that will provide a homeless person with the chance to move from being homeless to one where they will have the opportunity to more fully integrate into day to day society. This opportunity will be developed via guided learning and skills training with the objective of moving them into regular housing and having the capability to support themselves with an additional twelve months support from the Team once they have been housed.
