We’re heartbroken by yesterday’s tragedy at Big Church Festival, where a sign fell, injuring several people, one of whom sadly lost their life.
Our team was on site this weekend, and left with heavy hearts.
We know that for many of you, especially those of you who lead and care for young people, this might be something you find yourself helping them process too, hard questions, real fear, grief without easy answers.
“The Lord is near the brokenhearted; he delivers those who are discouraged.” Psalm 34:18
Even here, we believe God’s comfort is real, not instead of the grief, but right in the middle of it.
We’re praying for everyone affected, for the family and friends of the man who died, for those who were injured, and for all involved. We’re also praying for every youth and children’s leader supporting young people as they process what has happened. Would you join us?
