Meet our latest editions, Ty and Dozer (fluffy one). Two lovely Guinea Pigs donated by a local young man called Oscar.

Guinea pigs originally come from the Andes mountain range in South America.

They are native to countries like Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Colombia.Timeline: Indigenous groups began domesticating them as early as 5000 BC.Original Purpose:

Why the Misleading Name? Despite the name "guinea pig," they are rodents, not pigs, and they do not come from the country of Guinea. They are believed to be extinct in the wild.

They are in a temporary run until their new place is ready. Tempting though it might be please don't ask to see them as we do not want them to feel stressed in there new surroundings Another week they should be fine.
