🏅 Rugby Half Marathon 2026 🏅

A huge congratulations to everyone who took part in the Rugby Half Marathon today! 👏

We're especially proud of our 4 team members who took on the 13.1-mile challenge and crossed the finish line with well-earned medals. Their determination, resilience and commitment were on full display throughout the event.

Not only did they complete an incredible personal achievement, but they also helped raise valuable funds for our unit. Every donation will support opportunities, activities and training for our cadets, helping us continue to provide exciting experiences and development opportunities for young people.

Thank you to everyone who supported at the finish line handing out medals, water and snacks. Thank you to those who donated and cheered them on along the way. Your generosity and encouragement make a real difference.

Well done all – a fantastic achievement and a great example of teamwork and dedication! 💙

Cadet Forces Week is off to a strong start, and we would like to take this opportunity to recognise the vital role our volunteers play.

Without dedicated volunteers, our cadets would not have access to the incredible opportunities, experiences, and personal development that the Sea Cadets provide.

Rugby Sea Cadets is currently seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our volunteer team and help us continue delivering outstanding experiences for young people in our community.

We have a range of voluntary roles available, offering flexibility to fit around work, family, and other commitments. Volunteering is a rewarding experience that allows you to make a real difference while developing new skills and becoming part of a supportive team.

Reaching 1,000 followers is a huge milestone for Rugby Sea Cadets and Royal Marines Cadets (TS Tireless), and we couldn't have done it without every single one of you sharing, liking, and following our journey.

From drill and boating on the water to fieldcraft, shooting , and community parades, your support helps us showcase the dedication, teamwork, and achievements of our young people.

Today, Rugby Sea Cadets proudly joins the global maritime community in celebrating World Maritime Day and the vital role that the sea continues to play in our lives.

For centuries, the oceans have connected people, supported trade, protected our shores, and inspired adventure. Today is an opportunity to recognise the dedication, professionalism, and commitment of all those who serve and work within the maritime world.

From merchant seafarers and harbour staff to lifeboat crews, engineers, shipbuilders, Royal Navy personnel, and the Royal Marines, we celebrate the individuals who keep our maritime nation moving forward. 🇬🇧⚓

Here at Rugby Sea Cadets, the maritime spirit is at the heart of lots of what we do. Through seamanship, boating, navigation, leadership training, and community service, our cadets develop skills, confidence, and resilience that will serve them for life.

Whether our cadets are out on the water, learning seamanship, developing their navigation skills, working as part of a crew or discovering more about Britain's rich maritime heritage, we are proud to help inspire the next generation.
