Earlier this year Harold who helps with costumes and is Linda's husband had a scare helping cubs at Dale Street with a suspected heart attack.
His grand daughter, Bella, 7 years old, decided to do something to help and is climbing Snowdon to raise funds for a defibrillator at Dale Street Church. After her grandad’s heart incident, she’s determined to help ensure others get life-saving support when it’s needed most. Huge congratulations to Sara Rouse on being presented Matt Western MP's Community Award after the matinee performance of WAGS on Saturday. Matt Western says

"When I introduced my awards five years ago my ambition was to draw attention to special people across the constituency. In particular I wanted to highlight the work of those in the public, third and voluntary sectors that often goes unacknowledged. For me it’s a privilege to be able to recognise someone like Sara for her extraordinary dedication to WAGS over several decades. Her inspirational leadership has given generations of young people the chance to perform on a professional stage in fabulous productions. Each year she volunteers hundreds of hours and I want to thank her on behalf of the wider community as well as young people themselves for her amazing work."

Sara has been involved with WAGS for 40+ years, on stage, as Choreographer and latterly as the Producer. She is dedicated to making the show the best it can be, and ensuring that the young people and adults involved develop through the experience.

We want to thank every audience member that has come to watch and support our show. We couldn't do it without you!
