Expedition Assessor Supervisor Training Course (EASTC) open for bookings ready for the DofE expedition season!

The EASTC provides delegates with an understanding of the role and responsibilities of expedition assessors and supervisors and to be able to apply the DofE key principles and the 20 Conditions of the expedition section.

There are several courses open to bookings:
19th & 21st April - 1800 - 2100 - DofE/22/833598
24th & 26th May - 1800 - 2100 - DofE/22/833603
21st & 23rd June - 1800 - 2100 - DofE/22/833608

Virtual delivered on Adobe Connect. Log in details will be sent to accepted candidates. Please ensure the e-Induction is completed prior to attendance.

To be able to supervise any expedition the candidate must hold a technical qualification in that particular mode of travel.

Course consent forms not required, please add a note to Westminster if you need setting up on eDofE.

Candidates must complete the e-Induction online course on DofE.org/training.

Candidates for the Assessors course must also complete the Introduction to the Expedition section & roles.

Candidates must save the completion letter(s) and upload to Westminster.

Are you looking to complete your skill section for your Duke of Edinburgh's Award? Or perhaps you are interested in completing your RYA Day Skipper Theory?

If you enjoyed completing the RYA Essential Navigation and Seamanship course online then this is one not to be missed!

Come and join our DofE Skill - RYA Day Skipper Theory course! This is a self-study e-learning course open to cadets and adults.

Support will be available online by a qualified instructor.

Silver - NATV/22/848225
Gold - NATV/22/848227

Enrolment will take place the week commencing 28th March.
Cost to cadets: £105
Cost to adults: £50

DofE participants will be required to study an average of one hour a week to use this for their DofE Skill section and this could be for between 3-12 months as required.

Restrictions:
- Must have completed RYA Essential Navigation and Seamanship
- Must be enrolled on Bronze/Silver/Gold DofE and/or have an interest in completing the RYA Day Skipper Theory but for various reasons do not currently require for DofE

If you are currently an Able Cadet looking to progress to Leading Cadet, one of the courses you will need to complete is the Basic Peer Educator.

There are currently 10 course open to bookings across all areas!

The Basic Peer Educator course will build your confidence, teach you to think differently and show you how to use the leadership skills learned during your CTP training. It’s a requirement for cadets wanting to advance past Able Cadet but it’s also open to anyone wanting to develop their own instruction and leadership skills.
