Could you be the person to lead one of Kent's most exciting charity retail stores?

This isn't your traditional charity shop.

The Hangar is an innovative retail destination that's redefining what charity retail can be, and we're looking for an exceptional Retail Manager to lead our flagship store through its next exciting chapter.

We're searching for a dynamic, commercially minded leader who can inspire a team, deliver an outstanding customer experience and continue to grow a thriving retail business – all while helping to generate vital funds for hospice care in our community.

If you're an experienced retail leader looking for a role where your skills will have a lasting impact on your community, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and help us shape the future of charity retail.

Today, we’re thinking of all dads and father figures —
those we can celebrate today, and those who are no longer here.

We understand that Father’s Day can bring many emotions: joy, gratitude, reflection, and remembrance. However you’re spending today, please know you’re not alone.

To every dad, grandad, stepdad, foster dad, and father figure — and to those carrying the love and memories of someone they miss — we’re sending our warmest thoughts today 💜

🍬💜 A sweet surprise for our amazing volunteers! 💜🍬

To celebrate Volunteers Week, we wanted to treat our amazing volunteers to something sweet and we managed that with a little help from our friends at Haribo UK & Ireland Bluewater, who kindly supplied the sweets 🍭

From helping in our shops and supporting events, to giving their time behind the scenes, our past and present volunteers make such a huge difference to Wisdom Hospice Charity every single day. Quite simply, we couldn’t do what we do without you. Every hour volunteered helps support local hospice care in our community 💜

Our charity shops play a vital role in raising funds for hospice care, and we’re always looking for more friendly faces to join the team. If you can spare a few hours and would like to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you!
