Demand for basis hygiene and cleaning products across Medway has increased recently and our shelves are running low of essential items.

Financial donations allow us to bulk-buy crucial supplies to keep up with local demand.

A donation of just £5 provides basic essentials for a family for a week.

Small acts of kindness, together, BIG impact. 💛

This amazing group of friends heard about the work of The Hygiene Bank Medway through one of their workplaces, which supports our project. Inspired to help, they got fundraising — hosting quizzes and other events and raising an incredible £700+. 🙌

They then asked us what we were most short of, divided up the list and set themselves the task of buying as much as they could.

Fair to say… they emptied a LOT of shelves! 😂🛒

Emma was incredibly proud to meet them and receive their amazing donations. What an inspirational effort! 💛

ESSENTIAL PERIOD PRODUCTS. 💛

A huge thank you to Boots, Procter & Gamble and Always for this fantastic donation of period pads!

Since the start of the year, our community partners have told us they have supported more than 6,800 women and teenage girls across Medway — showing just how important access to essential period products is.

And, just like every brand donation, it takes a whole team to get them where they’re needed. From the brands who generously donate and our Head Office team, to our volunteers who sort, store & distribute them, and our community partners who support those who need them most.

And a special thank you to our very kind local farmer, who gives us extra storage space so we can accept pallet donations like this at no extra cost to the project. 🙌
