💛WOW! DAY TWO AND OUR DONATION BOX IS ALREADY FULL!

What an incredible start to our November collection for The Hygiene Bank Medway!

Just look at what our wonderful Shi Kon community has achieved on just day two!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has donated so far. Your generosity will help support local people and families experiencing hygiene poverty, and we’re so grateful for every contribution.

This is what community spirit is all about. People coming together to make a real difference.

And we’re only just getting started!

Our collection runs until 30th November, so please keep those donations coming. Members, families, friends and our wider community are all welcome to get involved.

One box filled and the second box is almost filled… how many more can we fill by the end of the month? 💛🤩

Volunteering is a two-way thing.

It’s about giving your time, helping others and making a difference, but it’s also about what you get back.

That sense of community, the laughs and being part of a team of like-minded people who all want to make a difference.

There’s something really special about being part of something bigger than yourself. Giving back feels good.

Our volunteers are the best and we couldn’t do it without our amazing team 🙌

Together, we make a difference. 🙌

During October, we distributed an incredible 1,288kg of hygiene and cleaning essentials to 11 amazing Medway community partners.
This is teamwork in action! From our generous donors and dedicated volunteers to the partners who help get support where it’s needed most, every contribution plays a part in working towards one shared goal – ending hygiene poverty. 💛

A huge thank you to the Ahmadiyya Women Muslim Association at Nasir Mosque, Gillingham!

Throughout September, the ladies collected an amazing 65kg of hygiene and cleaning products, alongside £200 in financial donations to support our vital work here in Medway.👏

The £200 will help us purchase essential items we are currently short of, ensuring we can continue supporting women and families across our local community.

IT’S OUR 7TH BIRTHDAY!
AND WHAT A 7 YEARS IT’S BEEN! 💛🎈

Seven years of kindness, community, incredible support and making a difference! We honestly can’t believe how far we have come. From one volunteer, Emma, to a team of 12, working alongside 64 community partners and reaching thousands of people. 🥹🙌

And just look at what we’ve achieved in 2026 alone! 💛

✨ Over 13,000kg of donations distributed
✨ 1,317 self-care kits created
✨ Over 7,000 households and 20,000 individuals reached
✨ 1,157 hours of volunteer time given

We are SO proud of what we’ve built together! Every day, we’re amazed, honoured and genuinely heartwarmed by the people who recognise that hygiene poverty exists and choose to stand alongside us to make a difference.

To every volunteer, donor, brand, community partner and supporter who has been part of our seven-year journey — THIS BIRTHDAY IS YOURS TOO! 🎉💛

We couldn’t have done any of it without you.
So today, we’re celebrating YOU, our community, and everything we’ve achieved together. Seven years down… and so much more still to do!
