Until March 2022 Friends of Chernobyl's Children (FOCC) Medway an independent charity supported children in Belarus who were, and still are, affected by the Chernobyl disaster. Now we are focusing our support to families with children affected by the war in Ukraine �
Previously…
We have provided respite and care for a small group of children from areas in Belarus which are most affected. Children

are welcomed into the homes of host families for 4 weeks each year, for a maximum period of 4 years. We hope to continue this work again when circumstances allow. The charity consists of a Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary and Trustees and all are volunteers and give up their time to help fundraise and support the charity throughout the year.
