Congratulations to Tony and everyone in the Delce and Cossack Street community on reaching an incredible fundraising milestone!

This week, I had the pleasure of accepting a cheque celebrating the fantastic total of £20,044 raised in support of Wisdom Hospice Charity since 2012.

Reaching £20,000 has been a goal that Tony and the community have been working towards for some time, so to see them surpass it is a truly remarkable achievement. It is a wonderful example of what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared purpose.

This incredible amount could help fund a hospice bed for 40 days, providing specialist care and support for patients and their families when they need it most.

To Tony, and to every single person who has donated over the years – thank you. Your dedication, generosity and commitment have made a lasting difference to our hospice and to the local community we are so proud to serve.

Congratulations once again on this amazing achievement and thank you for everything you continue to do. 💜

A massive THANK YOU to our amazing supporter Mick Lemmon for another fantastic fundraising event! 🤠🎸🍔

Mick's Nashville Weekend BBQ was a huge success, raising an incredible £520 for the Wisdom Hospice Charity!

Even more amazingly, thanks to his continued dedication and generosity through his annual Summer BBQs and his now-famous Christmas BBQs, Mick has raised a phenomenal £2,810 for the hospice over the years! 💜

Supporters like Mick make such a difference. Every pound raised helps us continue providing compassionate care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, when they need us most.

From everyone at the Wisdom Hospice and the Wisdom Hospice Charity, thank you, Mick, for your unwavering support, kindness and commitment. We are so grateful to have you as part of our fundraising family. 💜

✨ Thank You for Making Prosecco & Pearls So Special! ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Prosecco & Pearls Ladies' Luncheon on Friday 31st July at Upchurch River Valley Golf Club.

What a fantastic afternoon we shared! From delicious food and wonderful company to dancing the afternoon away, it truly was a celebration to remember.

A special thank you goes to all the amazing staff at Upchurch Rivers Restaurant for the incredible food and outstanding service, and to the X5 Band who kept us entertained all afternoon – the dance floor was buzzing from start to finish! 🎶💃🥂

A heartfelt thank you also goes to our wonderful volunteers from Lloyds Bank, who gave up their time to help on the day. Your enthusiasm, hard work and friendly smiles helped everything run smoothly, and we are so grateful for your support 💜

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended, supported, donated and helped make the event such a success. Thanks to your generosity, we are delighted to say we raised just over £1,500 for The Wisdom Hospice Charity.

Every pound raised helps us continue providing compassionate care and support to local people and their families when they need it most.

✨ Can you help us bring a little taste of summer to our hospice? 🍦☀️

Our wonderful nurses are planning a seaside-themed afternoon for our patients, filled with happy memories, laughter, and a little seaside magic.

We're hoping there might be a kind-hearted local ice cream van who would be willing to do a good deed and pay us a visit. The familiar ti**le of an ice cream van arriving outside, followed by a delicious ice cream, would mean so much to our patients and help create a truly special summer afternoon.

If you own an ice cream van, or know someone who does, and think you might be able to help, we'd love to hear from you. Please send us a message or tag them in the comments below.
