🥕 Now open at The Pentagon – Chatham’s new Community Food Shop!

We’re delighted to welcome the SEK Community Food Shop to The Pentagon Shopping Centre, providing affordable groceries and additional support for people across Medway.

📍 You’ll find the new shop on the first floor of The Pentagon.

Monday–Saturday: 10am–6pm
Sunday: Closed

And importantly, it’s open to everyone in Medway – there’s no referral or membership needed.

Shoppers can pick up good-quality food at affordable prices, including bags of fruit and vegetables for just £1, with surplus food also being redistributed to help reduce food waste.

The shop also includes a dedicated community space where visitors can access advice and support around budgeting, energy costs, finances and other local services.

Operated by Social Enterprise Kent, the new Community Food Shop is all about making good food more affordable while creating a welcoming place where people can access support when they need it.

A fantastic new addition to The Pentagon and Chatham town centre. 💙

👉 Pop in and take a look next time you’re visiting us.

It's an ask again please:

Does anyone have any baby girls clothes around 18-24 months please. (Including a coat)

We are trying to help one of our families who would be very grateful.

Thankyou
