Last night the Rainbows finished the term with lots of Easter activities including an Easter Egg decoration, an Easter Egg and Bunny Hunt, a Chick with a fabulous chocolate tummy and they crafted their own Easter Bunny. Everyone earned their Spring Badge and Innovate Skill Builder Badge. Lots of Express Myself Theme Award Badges were earned and as well as a Bronze Award and two Silver Awards! Phew! 🌈🐰🐥🐣

Wainscott Rainbows spent two weeks completing our Air Ambulance badge in honour of the Emergency Services. We made telephones, practised phoning 999 and talked about when and how to do that. We practised CPR on our toys to Baby Shark. We talked about where it is safe for the Air Ambulance to land and then navigated an obstacle course to deliver our toys safely to our Air Ambulance on the stage. Biscuits after all that! 🚑🚒🚐🚓🚁 🌈

It's been a busy 3 Christmas Weeks at Rainbows and no time for photos. We made and wrapped secret presents for people we love for our Present Maker Badge. We made cards, Christmas boxes, baubles, played games, made reindeer food with nature confetti and very cool Christmas decorations 😎🌈🎄🎅🎁

This week we had Parliament Week and did the My Thoughts Interest Badge. The Rainbows drew and shared their best ideas for a Rainbow meeting. We have made a list. This included: making dens/tents, making cakes and cookies, making slime, going to the park, growing flowers, all things Rainbow and a Rainbow takeover 😁🌈. We also voted on our favourite games and had a very democratic vote and tasting on our favourite crispy snack (Quavers won, followed by Skips then Hula Hoops). ⛺🍰🍪🌈

This week we had a fantastic visit from Abby@ Pet Set Party Animals. We learned thst bearded dragons have a third eye on top of their heads, why ferrets smell a bit weird, held a corn snake a royal python and were fascinated by giant millipeeds... and that's not all! Thank you so much! 🐇🦎🪱

2nd Week of First Aid Badge tonight. Last week we made First Aid Kits and learned about germs and washing our hands properly. This week we practised putting plasters on each other, the recovery position and bandaging. 🌈
