First week back at Rainbows after the Summer holidays and fluttering butterfly bracelets went down a treat 🦋 🌼

What a busy couple of weeks leading to our end of term! Last week we had a fabulous trip to Fenn Bell Zoo where we also presented our wonderful Zoo Guide, Amy, with a Rainbow Adventure badge 😁🌈 as well as earning one ourselves! This week we made fruit cocktails with various fruit juices, ice and maybe a smidge of lemonade. We made some fruit art and fabulous suncatchers.
Lots of badges were earned including 4 Gold Awards, 2 Silver Awards and 3 Bronze Awards 🌟🌟🌟. Also a Bee Protector, Animal Lover and Sleepover Interest badge. This term we completed our Know Myself Theme Award and Guiding Sparkle Interest Badge. What a haul! 🌈😎 🌟

Busy couple of weeks completing our Toys Interest Badge. We pampered our toys, made them sunglasses, took them on an indoor picnic and then designed our ideal toy, giving them superhero powers and even designing furniture. Some of us wanted our toy to come alive! Then we made sock puppets. A badge well earned even if the weather hampered our outdoor picnic plans 😎🧸🌧️🌈

Last night the Rainbows finished the term with lots of Easter activities including an Easter Egg decoration, an Easter Egg and Bunny Hunt, a Chick with a fabulous chocolate tummy and they crafted their own Easter Bunny. Everyone earned their Spring Badge and Innovate Skill Builder Badge. Lots of Express Myself Theme Award Badges were earned and as well as a Bronze Award and two Silver Awards! Phew! 🌈🐰🐥🐣

100 Years of Thinking Day. Theme was friendship. We celebrated by making dens with our Rainbow friends 😊🌈

Wainscott Rainbows spent two weeks completing our Air Ambulance badge in honour of the Emergency Services. We made telephones, practised phoning 999 and talked about when and how to do that. We practised CPR on our toys to Baby Shark. We talked about where it is safe for the Air Ambulance to land and then navigated an obstacle course to deliver our toys safely to our Air Ambulance on the stage. Biscuits after all that! 🚑🚒🚐🚓🚁 🌈

Rainbows enjoyed earning their Winter badge today ❄️⛄. We designed our own winter hat and made melting snowman biscuits ☃️🌈

It's been a busy 3 Christmas Weeks at Rainbows and no time for photos. We made and wrapped secret presents for people we love for our Present Maker Badge. We made cards, Christmas boxes, baubles, played games, made reindeer food with nature confetti and very cool Christmas decorations 😎🌈🎄🎅🎁
