ECS have added another option to the list of training they will accept to order am ECS Labourer Card. This will provide an alternative option to those without a Level 1 Award in H&S or equivalent. Please check out the blog.

A second person has been arrested after the tragic death of Gogglebox star George Gilbey, who fell through a roof while working as an electrician on a construction site. Presumably under corporate manslaughter legislation.

FAQ: Is your course approved by CITB?

Answer: We are a City & Guilds Approved Training Centre delivering the Level 1 (RQF) H&S in Construction Award, which is training that CITB - CSCS and ECS recommend to get your labourer card. Our exam certificate therefore totally meets CITB and CSCS requirements to get your labourer card.

CITB & CSCS no longer approve new alternatives to the Level 1 Award. Existing alternatives are still valid but will need repeating every 3-5 years. Our course is "evergreen" which means CITB & CSCS accept that you only have to do it once.
