On the Rye

On the Rye I am a Mum of 3 who champions pressure free creativity however that looks. I hold space for all ages in my creative workshops. I value community and inclusion.

I love to host events that feed people's inner calm so you always leave feeling lighter. Mucky Pups provides parents/carers with an accessible setting for any child to discover more about themselves through play. The use of textures, crafts (often messy), imaginative & creative play, for children to be able to 'throw themselves in' to different roles, using all their senses to experience the world

around them. Each session is age appropriate and based on the same themes within that week. The themes then change each week.

This beautiful artwork my youngest did, age 3, and I love it. I loved watching him do it, too. He used many implements ... mostly his hands. What a pro! It has been the instigator for a few of my workshops including the workshop I have coming up based on the Artist Mark Hearld, who coincidentally taught me briefly on my Art foundation course at York College many moons ago!
